Ramón Texeira better known as "Moncho", born and
raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico, a real Puerto Rican artist! In my paintings
I try to bring back some of the country living experience I had the privilege
of being a part of. Most of my works are done with my favorite media -
acrylic on canvas. Below is "Sabor Boricua" my signature
painting which I have done hundreds of times. Many of my works are hanging
from homes and restaurant walls around the Latino community.
I am also the
designer and painter of the "6th CUATRO FESTIVAL 2004" poster. I have
exhibited my works in places such as "THE PALMER SQUARE BOULEVARD
FEST", "LA CASITA DE DON PEDRO", "EL CENTRO DE
CULTURA", "HISTORIA Y ARTE" (ASPIRA), "FIESTA
BORICUA", "LA CASA PUERTORRIQUEÑA"
among others.
