Puerto Rican Artist - Santá Andujar

Santá Andujar
My name is Santá Andujar and I'm of Puerto Rican descent. Born in Puerto Rico, residing in Maine.

After collaborating with another Native American artist to create Penobscot dolls. I found a craft that I never knew how to do before till then. I was very proud of dolls that I have perfected. It was then that I took notice of a possibility of a doll of my own culture. So with that same dedication to my previous dolls, I have also put into my Puerto Rican dolls, with extensive research on how they wore their clothing to the themes of dances.

I proudly make traditionally dressed (circa 17-18th century) Puerto Rican dolls. All originally designed and sewn. The dolls are approximately 14" tall, polyester fiberfill, clothing from cotton, rayon, polyester.
